Why I prefer leather suspenders to leather belts

No, I don't wear leather suspenders more often than belts, but I do tend to prefer how they feel and function when I'm doing active things.

For instance bending over with a leather belt that's taut to your body tends to squeeze your guts. If you ride a bike, your belt tends to squeeze and ride up into your guts.

It's not that big of a deal, which is why I'm not wearing suspenders 24/7 whereas you'll almost always see me wearing a belt. But again, if I'm actively working or want to feel relaxed and let air flow through my jeans, it's leather suspenders all day.

Made out of full grain leather and brass hardware, just like any higher-quality leather belt, suspenders are a little more intricate to fit, but easy enough once you get used to them across different pairs of pants and jeans.

Sadly, the suspenders I own and show in the video are from a company that no longer exists — Context Clothing. I did find these leather Y suspenders on eBay from a brand called NUTUCH (no affiliation) that look pretty decent.
